Pecel Semanggi


Pecel Semanggi is a special food from East Java, it made from Semanggi leaf which steamed then it served with delicious Sambal(condiment us. containing chili peppers) Pedas(hot).
Its also can be served with Kecambah(sprout), Kangkung(large toad), Kerupuk Uli(knead chips) where
it made from bulled rice and spices which made from spreading yams.
There's many kind of Sambal Semanggi.
In Banyuwangi, Sambal Semanggi made from red pepper, lemon-grass, star fruit and little bit of Java Sugar(all the more), Terasi(salted), and red pepper.
